Windrush At Talacre Park

Last year was a fantastic success, bringing together the Talacre community in a fun filled celebration of everything that is Windrush!

Talacre Town Green has strong links to local Windrush Pioneers. The area was transformed by campaigner Jerry Williams, who was part of the Windrush Generation and Camden’s first Black mayor, from a bomb site into a space for the community to enjoy.

Last year was the first year a Windrush festival was held in the green and was universally welcomed as a massive success. Camden are determined to build on the incredible community spirit displayed and enjoyed.

This year Windrush @ Talacre is back with a even bigger focus on the local community!

BOLO (Black Owned London) will be curating the Crafts market element of the festival.
